Isn't this the same jerk that has been stealing from others? Thought I saw a post last week with the same idiot. http://www.pixdaus.com/?sort=search
This guy/gal already has SEVERAL photographers threatening legal action in the comments section and is still breaking the law. I also emailed the site owner. They should be removing them as a user immediately! Here are all the comments from other photgraphers http://www.pixdaus.com/?fun=2&name=poppy
Plus, I am ticked they even took a shot I don't even like (the heron shot, which is not very sharp)...makes me look even worse!!

Kurt, there are 3 of your photos on there if you search using your name. I have seen pics of mine on there too.

Even worse they have a new one of mine on there too posted by poppy and an older one that they haven't removed. If I remember rightly its a UK site. How can we sort this out folks, ideas???

Bill, I left a nasty gram for them and also emailed the site owner. If you go to the home page, they have an email set up for this practice in particular. But they also say they will remove participants that continue to do this...if you read Poppy's (really should have chosen the name Poopy) comments, this certainly isn't his/her first offense and I was sure to point that out to the site owner. now I am going to sit back for a day or two and see what plays out.
Thanks about the multiple images, I saw that also.

The crazy thing is how the Poppy person is so defensive and stubborn about all this. Obviously the photographers are pissed, yet he/she keeps on spending their time posting other people's photos and then acting stubborn about it in the comments, as if the photographers are out of line.
Just another fool eroding my faith in humanity.

Well the news tonight is that they have already responded to my complaint and removed my photos from their site so kudos to them. Good luck with yours Kurt.

It seems to me that this has happened at least once before. I also seem to remember a poster by the pseudonym of Poppy being the biggest offender then as well. They obviously do not remove their posters who violate the law!

I don't know if I should be insulted or happy that none of my photos have been stolen!
Seriously, that guy is a jerk...his "I'm not profiting" argument is crap.
Now Im seeing the images, and Jack's image even gives him credit, so it's not a copyright issue as much as not getting paid for posting the images right?

I've had several responses from them and I genuinely believe that they are addressing the concerns. Keep emailing them until they do get it fixed.

I found about seven of mine on there. He even titled one of my red fox image as a Arctic Fox!!

Yeah, one of mine was titled "Jungle River" and I commented that I was the photographer and wondered who made up the title as it was taken in Texas. No jungles there to my knowledge. I demanded it be removed and got the "send your request for removal to blah, blah, blah" but noticed the next day it was gone.

I notice a few from Marc Adamus up there, too. The guy just doesn't (want to) have a clue.
Also, I'm not sure but that Pixdaus continues to allow access to banned photos, at least to premium users; See http://pixdaus.com/index.php?fun=register; I'm not a premium member, so I don't know if 'banned' includes copyright complaints.
