This is the last posting from this series (promise). Another horizontal crop from a vertical frame but I did feel that this one suited the horizontal format better. Again the lighting wasn't very good but the pose I felt was better. Different opinions welcome.

I would prefer to have the seal facing me but its still a very nice image. Good detail and nice background. A shame though the foreground is a touch messy. :wavey:

Hi Robert

There are time when you take what is on offer. Ok the foreground isn't the best but you got the interesting shots out of what you were given. Nice to see an 'as is' approach - makes a change to the 'perfect', everything just so shot. A nice moment.

Cheers,
Chris

You just have to wonder what's on their minds at times like these, they seem to amuse them selves endlessly. Nicely captured moment again Robert.

I've enjoyed these Robert. I like to see some 'nature' around the subject as well, so I don't mind the foreground at all, especially as it doesn't really hide anything relevant to the image. Very nice.
