On my way to RMA today I could see a nice big bank of clouds and gap on the horizon. Just after I stopped at Lake Ladora, the sky exploded! A small patch of ice has opened in the last week, leaving open water to catch some of the color.
Having the same thoughts this morning, I watched the sunrise as I drove in to Boulder. Probably was swerving all over the road with my face pressed to the window. Your image does a very good job at presenting the show that was on display this morning.

Hi Dave,
Wow, that is insane! Glad you were able to be out somewhere when this was taking place. Sweet image.

Whoa! Awesome shot! I was walking my dog at sunrise today and wished I had my camera with me. Best onbe of the winter, by far.

Oh, I'm soooo glad you had your camera!! Outstanding.
I was standing in my office building's parking lot with mouth agape (except for the self-deprecating comments for not having my own camera with me) for about 10 minutes as the sunrise unfolded. What a morning!

Sweet. I was also kicking myself for not having a camera as I watched this form on the way in to work.
