Grainy Daze
Over the holiday weekend there were quite a bit of people in DV. With no wind the night before the sand dunes were a little tracked so it was a little harder to shoot the wide angle stuff. We did a lot more telephoto work with tighter shots of the distant dunes and peaks or details like this.

Posted another shot looking over my left shoulder over in the ESS forum.

Very nice abstract, Steve, the light/shadows really have my eyes/brain confused. When I look at the lower/middle section I think I have it figured out, then I look at the top section and I'm confused again, well done :toast:

A most unique abstract, Steve. I've never seen anything like this in DV.
The colors are great.

Steve, this one is extremely impressive. I totally agree about the uniqueness and abstraction quality overall. Very well captured and processed.

This is a beautiful abstarct, Steve. I like the patterns and color very much. I really like the pattern change, too.

Good job!

Great combination of color and shapes. I like how the tight folds at the top fan out on the bottom. Cool abstract.

Very nice! I would have never guessed DV if you had not mentioned it. It looks a lot like the little rivulets that form on the seashore under last light. Well composed and captured!
