Beaver Dam at Schwabacher Landing
Spending another winter trying to complete my task of scanning 25 years of slides. I came upon this one that I took several years ago at Schwabacher Landing. It was before the beavers expanded the Dam
and killed off the trees. Just shows how things can change in nature.

Very nice scan, Don.
How many more years to complete the project?

That's pretty cool. I'd love to see a before/after comparison.

Don, I've gotten some great shots from here. Is it still photogenic?

Thanks for the comments. I"ll see if I can find an "after" shot. I believe I did take one although I didn't focus on it due to the dead trees. Bill, I've been working on scanning my slides for 3 years mostly in the winter months. I probably have at least another 2-3 years after this. Dean, the beavers have built another Dam back where the original one was by the parking lot. As you walk the bank toward the upper dam (the one pictured above) thats were you see the damaged trees. You can still shoot the teton reflections at both dams unless the Spring runoff changes things.

Nice shot. Like the light and color. Would also like to see some images from before.
