Hello all...I haven't been very diligent on posting photos. I realize they aren't of the RMNP area, but that's really not an option at this point. Here is a photo of some emperor penguins, or royalty as they are called here, that are molting in the area. They stand around for about 30 days and starve themselves and begin to look really scruffy, but when they are done, I hear they are beautiful. I have others but not of the right size to post yet.

That's a really cool shot, both literally and artistically!

Hey, Cynthia, good to hear from you again! I hope they aren't working you too hard.
I like your pano crop.
These guys look like they are standing around waiting at the bus stop.
A good photoshop opportunity.

I like this a lot! Very good behavior shot, really shows a lot, even though they aren't being very active.

That is so cool. Nice display of the behavior. I love penguins. Thanks for sharing this.
"Just chllin'" The pano crop suits the image perfectly and I love how they're just relaxed and seemingly hanging out on an expanse of ice. A very lovely image. Great to hear from you in the Great White South!

Great to hear from you. Hard to beat penguins in any context. Love it - keep 'em coming!
