Blackbirds scrapping in the snow 1
This is one from a series that I took a week or two ago in the snow. 20 + blackbirds were attracted to a winter feeding site and occasionally a bit of fisty cuffs broke out, though suprisingly they learnt to be fairly tolerant of each other most of the time.
I like the pose of the one in the snow as he is about to be dive-bombed by his adversary

Hi Paul,

Nice behaviour shot. The pose of the bird on the ground is great. My only nit is the top birds clipped wings, but I appreciate how fast this all happens!

Cheers,

Lewis.

Hello Paul.

Excellent action shot and I really love the pose of the bottom one with the wings and tail feathers in full display.

Great action - little sign of tolerance amongst the ones I have here - enough food to feed the lot, yet still they fight as if there was one seed left !!

It was like cage fighting at time round my feeding station - you caught the action well here and love the lower birds pose.
