Siskin
Hi friends,
at the moment I have about two dozen of them around my feeders.
I enjoy to watch them, they see the feeders a bit as their own
property and hold the other birds under control.

Canon 7D; EF 100-400; ISO 1000; hide and styrofoam
under my feet and bum

Hi Bertl,

Lovely shot! Great colour that contrasts really well with the bg. I also like the slight upward look, rather than looking towards you.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Hi Berti

Like the contrasting colours on this one, lovely birds. Sadly the whites of the feathers look blown against the branch, not sure if you can do anything about that?

Hi Bertl, great siskin image, lovely light and the red branch adds greatly to the shot.

I have to agree with Steve about the blown whites on the plumage, but otherwise a cracking shot.
