Yesterday I went to Duncan Creek on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. This is a beautiful place with lots of small waterfalls/slides. I had planned on the day being overcast, but by the time I got there the clouds were gone. This is my favorite image of one of the slides on the creek with diffused sunlight filtering through the trees. All comments/critiques are appreciated.
Nikon D80, 12-24mm dx, 0.8 sec at f/11, ISO 100. I selectively used TKs "Make It Glow" action to make the highlights stand out.

I also love these kinds of abstracts. Great use of the dappled light to enhance portions. I never tire of looking at these shots. Nicely done, Scott.

The camera really handled this well. Good eye for what the image was going to look like as well.

I like these abstract shots as well. The speckled water came out nicely and goes nice with the gold colors.

I'm a bit contrarian in that I'm not as big a fan of abstracts as most, but I appreciate the craft. I do like the contrast between the ulc and the lrc, with the flow of the stream between, and the glitter of the highlights is a nice addition.
