Wet Mountain Sunrise
Took advantage of the lack of snow in the Wets on Thursday and drove up Gardner Road as far as the closure near Ophir Creek, in search of some views of the Sangres. Unfortunately I found the best ones after the sun came up, but it was a good scouting trip!
Here's the Crestones.

Didnt quite make it out of the trees in time for sunrise. I accidentally left a lens lying on the ground  Fortunately i had my latest photo as a guide to retrace my steps and locate the lens!

Oh yeah, I like that second one! You've got Lindsey on the left and Blanca on the right. Just missed Ellingwood Point by that much!

I like the diagonals going on in #1 and the light in #2. Glad you found your lens, Stan.

I really dig the second one! The first has a dust bunny in the left cloud.

I like the colors in all of them, the comp in the first one, and the light in the second one. Nice work. I bet there will be some great shots to be had come fall in that first area with all those aspen.
