I'm sure some of you canon users can help with this.
My cousin is missing the software disc for his 40d,needs the software to open raw files, wondering if anyone out there has a disc he can borrow and post back or burn onto disc, happy to pay, he can download but not sure which one to download as there is a hell of a lot on the site.

Thanks in advance!!

Simple Craig, just go to the Canon website and download the latest DPP (3.7.2?) FREE, plus other bits. He will then be able to access his RAW files!

eos utility is what is needed to download from the camera, but all the software on canons site require you to have the software already installed.

How to install the software without the cd from northlight http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/article_pages/install_canon_software.html

A copy of the cd from torrent http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4760083/Canon_Camera_Software_ISO_%28CameraWindow__ZoomBrowser_EX%29
