Coming In To Land
Hi all, spent a nice day wandering around Slimbridge yesterday. I decided I'd like to capture some 'Flight Shots'. The weather was cold and grey all day, except for about 30 seconds towards the end of the day. The light was the strangest I've seen, a sort of sepia glow. Anyway I managed this image of a Mute Swan coming in to land. The image is full frame, all comments most welcome! :wavey:

Canon EOS 7D, Sigma 150-500mm lens.

f5.6, 1/250sec, ISO 400, @318mm.

Great shot, I like how the trees surround the bird.

Hello Paul.

I like this and the framing of the trees is great which gives the feeling of the swan coming in to land.

The lighting does look strange but if thats the way it was then its added a nice feel to the image as well.
