Very nice! Great poses and the obvious tension between them makes this really hum. The relationship between them is great and the lighting superb. It would have been so easy to make a cack of this with the shadow of one falling over and obscuring the other. Well caught, and a good bit of storytelling.

Great shot, John. Was this some dispute over a carcass?

Great shot, I like the pose and the snow really adds to the image.

My only crit would be the bird on the right has a funny eye, not sure if it is the processing but my eye is drawn straight to it.

Like this very much. A superb behavioural shot with some very nice detail, the snow reflecting a lovely light on the plumage. Nice one.

A really well caught bit of behaviour John. Do you have any with the carcasse as I feel it would add to the story of why they are squaring up?

Hi Folks, thanks for the comments. Hi Liam it is a catchlight in the eye due to the snow.
Robert yes I have plenty more with the carcases. I will be posting shortly.

Very nice bit of NH imaging.. Well exposed and good detail throughout. Great interaction, but then that's why you captured it..

Hello John.

Just brilliant for me, the pose of the birds with the composition you have captured just couldn't be better.
