New Guy
Been a member of MWNP for awhile but due to various reasons was unable to actively participate. The Yellow Lady's Slipper image was taken last spring during a trip to Tobermory Canada. Upon my retirement I decided to take up nature photography as a hobby and I welcome all C&C as I have a lot to learn on my new adventure into photography and CS4.

Ralph, like the shot. Doubt if I see any flowers for a while but Spring is out there somewhere. Iam not sure but think I would like to see a bit more space around the flower, just to give it a bit more room. Lookingto see more in future.

Welcome aboard Ralph to an awesome site to both enjoy and share your passion for photography. For a new guy, not too shabby a post! I agree with Kendall, maybe a bit tight on the cropping. But great separation of subject from bg. I like the muted soft bg. This post would also benefit from posting a larger image file so we can really enjoy your capture. :toast:
