Canon 1D Mark III Iso 400, 400mm f5.6 Hand held
My first reasonable shot of a goldfich.

A very nice shot Bronia but I think I might remove the upper branches and crop/clone on the right to remove some of the twigs. Nice detail though. :wavey:

A lovely shot Maggie, nice detail; I agree with Maggie about the upper branches, would clone out if possible. :toast: :toast:

Lovely shot of this colorful bird!
I would like to suggest a horizontal or even square crop for this one thus eliminating the upper branches.

Very nice shot but definitely in need of a crop (my suggestion would be take a good bit off the top and also a bit from the bottom).

Both are nice shots, but I favour the first which gives a better impression of the bird's habitat, whilst still being well composed, and with the branches framing the bird nicely.

Don't lose any more off this. I like both versions and I like to see my wildlife in the wild.

Second one for me. There's still a good feeling of habitat there but it has less distractions and plenty of space to look into :wavey:

Hello Bronia.

Like both images but find the second one stronger.
