A nice pattern Mike but I think I would get rid of the bottom section of the image e.g. bridge, street lights etc. :wavey:

I am not sure what to think of the bottom part, somehow it works and somehow it distracts me from that amazing pattern of starlings!

Greetings,

Hi Mike agree with Maggie about the bottom, what a super shot the Starling almost look as if they are forming one large bird, great

Lovely image of Starlings gathering for roost, agree with above comments about bottom RH corner. :toast:

Fascinating shot Mike. I reckon you have two images here. The picture as it is with the urban environment and another more graphic image of just the starlings. Both equally as good.

Echo Robert's comments - making more of this with a whole chunk of urban landscape complete with wooshing red car lights going through with the starlings overhead would be a killer image. I'm not entirely sure its all in focus though.

Mike
I agree with John and Robert above - definately include more of Taunton - you could have lost a bit of the top of the sky above the starlings to include more 'urban'. At the moment it's a bit inbetween.

well done

It looks as if the starlings are making a giant starling shape. Interesting to see this in such an urban setting.

I think you have two shots there Mike. Lose some sky and go for the urban comment; or lose the bottom and say thank you very much for the cloudscape. Either will do for me. I like them both.
