A little early to be precise about such things, but since some of you will be travelling to Denver for Saturday, heres a preliminary look at things:
Should be seasonal temepratures, 40s, a real nice day on saturday with light winds. If, like me, you're considering some photography at RMNP or elsewhere in the area, Sat morn might be a better bet than Sun morn--by Sunday morning another storm will be moving in from the NW and it will probably be a bit breezy/windy unlike the calmer conditions on Sat. Clouds will be on the increase with some snow showers possible later Sunday. The mountains should at least get some light snow thursday, so it will be fresher on Saturday, which would be my pick day. Im still hoping the northern storm is a bit stronger so that the Gods get a bit of decent snow thursday morn, might make fri morning a good shoot. I havent seen snow at the Gods yet this winter which is somewhat depressing, and they need at least 3 or 4 inches to be worth shooting IMO.
Thanks for the Info Stan. Would agree that far it looks like the storm Thursday keeps drifting south. Good news for the folks in NM, but not for your GOG plans.

Thanks Stan! Maybe I'll get stuck in Denver Sunday night and not be able to fly back to Indiana for a week or two!

LOL. Keep those good thoughts going Amy. My kids sure would like a snow day.
Bill,
No Avalanche in the area until 6pm Sunday.
