Mmmm not sure Phil. I think I would prefer it if the orange section were cropped from the bottom of the image but thats a personal feeling. :wavey:

Like Maggie I am not sure about this one. My eye keeps getting drawn to the orange area with all the lines in it at the bottom. The colours are great, but I'm not sure what the subject of the shot should be - is it a landscape with birds, or birds in a landscape. :frown:

I like this. It feels very high up as if shot from a plane.

Too much time on your hands to be planing composites now

Nice shot(s) and works well.

Have to admit, I can't quite make my mind up about this one. The orange area does compete with the formation of the birds slightly and I wondered if a B+W version would be worth a try?

Hi Phillip, nice picture and well thought out. :toast:

Hi Phil,

I quite like this, although I feel it may have worked even better in landscape format.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Not sure it quite works for me either.. The reason is that the birds really do look placed in the image because of the different treatments and exposure of the images. I can see what you were trying to achieve and with a little more processing will probably get there but at the moment it does look like 2 images.
