Acord Hollow is located in the Arkansas Ozarks, about 4 miles north of the Oark community. A section of the Ozark Highlands Trail runs along the ridge directly south. I found this pretty little bend in the stream Sunday about 1.5 miles up from its confluence with Little Mulberry Creek. Beech trees and moss provided lots of color.

Great winter scene, John and it looks like there was a pretty good flow also.

Splendid. This looks more like a shot taken in late fall rather than late winter.
I like the way that you have presented this in a semi-panoramic format. It really emphasizes the flow of the creek. The low perspective is also nice. I'm sure this would be a spectacular fall location.

Lush color for the middle of winter. Great find John! I also like the crop.

A winter jewel John. Very well constructed image and surprisingly good conditions for January. Well done!

Love the combination of beech trees and moss, and with the creek flowing through, this one really sings. Nice work, John!
John you seem to be pretty good at finding nice little spots like this.

The lush and beautiful moss and the leaves, both on the trees and on the ground, combine for a colorful winter scene. It must have been a damp and overcast day, and great weather for photography.

Beautiful shot, beautiful spot. Yes that green moss is really nice, especially in the middle of January.
