The light during my recent visit to Yosemite was challenging. Mostly grey or snow. On the last day, as I was leaving I noticed some sky breaking at the east end of the park and scurried up to tunnel view and shot this photo. An icon, photographed a zillion times, but still beautiful. I posted a few more shots of Yosemite on my website:

Nice Tony. Glad you had a chance to get some shooting done. I checked out the web link too. I have to say the shot shooting west from superintendants meadow with the west end of the open books peaking out is outstanding(5of8). Hard one get!!!

Thanks for the link. You got some great ones from the Yosemite storm. Very well done!!!
I like the icon image(s) too. Everyone shoots them for a reason, because the spot is beautiful.

You definitely made the most of your time there Tony. I hope to go back soon and have some snow like your did. Good work!
Nice shot Tony. It was nice meeting you as well as Dan and Lon; hopefully we can get together again.

I haven't seen an image from this point with so much snow in a long time. Well done and it sounds like you had a great trip.

Tony,
I recall you saying that this might have been your best from the trip - of course I haven't seen all from your visit, but I imagine this has to rank up there as a high point. You caught the break in between clouds and storms just right and it's a great site to catch the valley like this after a winter storm that coats the valley in snow. Great catch.
