Ice snake
This morning as I was heading to town for the first trip with the semi, I was putting along letting things get warmed up. In the ditch along the road something caught my eye. Since I had been reminded recently never to leve home without a camera, I had my P&S. I think with the melting we had for a couple days the place it chose to winter was inundated. There was a red tail hawk around the area but evidently frozen snake was not on the menu. Not a great shot but I thought it was interesting.

Interesting catch. I've never seen a snake in the winter.

That's somthing you don't see everyday. This time of year at least.

Interesting indeed, Kendall. Maybe a Hawk had gotten it but dropped the snake while in flight?
