Much has been said about the disturbance caused to the seals at Donna Nook but I think it's fairly safe to say that the animals up at the nursery next to the boardwalk are not bothered by the visitors at all. In fact this little chap seemed positively intrigued by them.
I wanted to try and show just how close people are able to get to the seals without causing them distress.
Needless to say, it is a different matter out on the sandbank.
Nice to see something different from this place - never been there myself but I guessed there must be more than 'just' seals there :-)
and this picture eloquently portrays just that. We need more of this kind of image-making. This one pic says a lot about human-animal 'interaction.

Very thought provoking image Robert and one that must be shown/told.Really like it,but for me the people are just to close for comfort, even worse out on the sandbanks

I think it really does work quite well in portraying the impact we have on the animals.. On a funnier note I'm not sure where those jeans are disappearing to..?
