Very interesting lighting, Jay. I'm curious how you got it. Did you
convert along the way to a "sepia" tone?

Robert,
No the ir blocking filter was removed from the camera and replaced with a ir pass665nm filter. Now the camera just thinks its visible light so you can hand hold shots in good light etc. This strength of filter allows in some vivsible color spectrum and was shot in a "neutral colorstyle" they come out of the camera this way with the white balance set to green vegetation that is reflecting ir light.Like I said the only processing was sharpening dust cleanup and resize. Stronger filters 720nm+ the vegetation would be the stark white that you normally see in ir and is really handy in B&W. But you then lose a lot of visible color.....
This scene in vivsible light was the classic Half Dome alpenglow in the evening. The sky was a flat gray but had interesting banding that was caught well with the ir. This shot would normally be extremely difficult to expose via visible light . The only option would be exposure blending several shots.
Hope that helps. I would be happy to add more info if folks are interested.
Thanks
Jay

Like the different approach to Half Dome. One of my favorite subjects from all angles.

Nice image. I like where you live. What sort of work do you do there?

Dan and Bill,
Thanks for the comments. The ir makes it fun to shoot the walls again. It can be pretty intimidating trying to get something fresh out there......So much so I really had a hard pushing to go out and shoot the amazing things here......I know poor me huh...
Dan ,
I work for the concessions. My job is Warehousing. I manage all the retail inventory and supply line logistics for laundry and food for units that are not directly serviced. Sorry I must be very clear here....I am not responsible for buying the horrible gifts nor making the really bad food nor the pricing associated with those items.....Just making sure those nasty things make it to where they are supposed to be
Thanks for looking,
Jay

Very interesting... I particularly like what the subtle cloud formations add to the image. Good stuff!
