Tree Sparrow
Taken today in my garden, sat in the freezing cold for sometime because I spotted a Brambling!! It never came back so had to make do with this chap instead.

Lovely portrait Kim of a bird I have never photographed. This looks just a wee bit oversharpened to me.

Very nice but the cloning on the left hand side needs a bit of attention.

Thanks - yes Craig, I guess I tried to clone out some twigs on the left and didn't do a very good job. Haven't touched the bird though!!

Strange, it looks oversharpened to me as well. On this screen I can see a slight halo. A nice clear shot though.

Great little birds they are too. Maybe just toning it down a bit (contrast)would help.
Cheers

Nits covered, but it shows how your expectations change. It was probably not too long ago you would have been overjoyed with a shot as good as this of anything. Now you are disappointed that it is only a sparrow.

It is still a great shot of a sometimes under-appreciated little bird. :toast:
