Fox on the prowl
Same fox but quite a different image. I like the 'I know you're there' look he's giving me.

iso 200 1/500 sec. f/4

hi edwin

wonderful picture, great clour with the anima against the snow surround and yes the fox is giving it a sly glare/glance, the fox looks in wonderful condition

Hi Edwin - another gem! The attitude of the fox is unmistakable - very much staring you out. I'm 'slightly' undecided about the bottom - I love the empty space (cant decide whether it looks like shadow or iced over water) but the colour difference is odd. I dont dislike it - just cant decide how much I DO like it! It would be a terrific cover image - perfect comp for header text and contents. Keep them coming - particularly these low clean iconic images - they're very very striking. Lovly lovely work.

Oooh yes this really works for me Edwin, a great sly expression on the face and a fantastic composition too!

Lovely image. I initially thought there was too much mush at the bottom but the longer I look at it the more I like it.

This is a great shot that I would be over the moon to have taken, but you set such a high standard with the last one that it is difficult to beat it.

I love this (although I am also a little unsure about the quantity of space at the bottom), but still prefer the previous post. In fact I kep showing it to friends on my phone. :toast:

Hi Edwin, I have been looking at this now several times and personally I am unsure. Probably because the crop is away from the norm  The space & comp as Andy says, 'is great', but being Mr Boring I much prefer the first one I guess

Certainly it does not warrant 'nice image'!!!

Really excellent and I love the space at the bottom of the image and the stare from the fox. Who was stalking who ... :toast:

Not sure if your images inspire me to go out and shoot more images, or to give up saying whats the point!!
Lovely image, looks like he is walking towards the edge of a snow covered precipice.

Oh I like this a lot.... much more so than your previous image which I felt had just too much of a blue cast, here I think you have struck the balance perfectly... for me the negative space at the bottom induces a sense of mystery that goes so well with the fox, and as for the eye contact....
