Moab part 2 in color
Thanks everyone for your valuable critique on my last post.

Again, if you have time and are curious to read the full story about this image you can do so at http://www.thelightwithinphotography.com/wordpress/

Just as a clarification, the image is a single exposure and I did minimal amount of processing (contrast, curves, dodging of the foreground rocks to even exposure, sharpening, sizing and cropping) and I did not mess with saturation since what nature gave me was pretty incredible to begin with. But as always I look forward to hearing what you think.

Hope to see you all tonight :jump:

Very nice natural image. The sky colors are great. Its quite a hike but well worth the trip.

Only suggestion I have is to crop some of the sky and the right side so the LRC includes the red sandstone to the lower right of Delicate Arch. The right side as is looks a bit empty and unnecessary. I personally might boost the color sats just a bit. Tremendous shot Aleks! PS - is that link correct? I get a shot of a tiger....

Very nice, love the color, your post processing looks good to me. I agree with Pamela's cropping possibilities also.

Wow, where is this magical place?! I've never seen anything like it! Beautiful shot of this iconic place, Aleks. I love the colorful cotton candy in the sky and the cloud-topped distant peaks. My only problem is the dust spots all over the---oh wait, that's dirt on my monitor.

Doh... sorry about that, I forgot to paste the link. It should work now Jack and thanks for pointing it out.

Nice shots! The snow really adds to it. I could imagine a tighter crop (square maybe?) helping to enhance the arch photo.

The one time I've hiked to Delicate Arch, with a friend, I refused to bring my camera along. Of course when we were up there I wished I had it anyways... It wasn't as cool as this though!

Pretty shot and some great conditions--i gotta be honest and say the balance feesl a bit off for me, it might help to crop some of the top here. Good to see ya at the Shindig!
