HI,
I'm a newbie to all this digital stuff. Anyone have suggestions on converting images using Apple's Aperture software for posting on NPN?
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to NPN, Christopher. In my experience, Aperture doesn't lend itself particularly well to post-processing for the internet. I've found that you need a good digital photo adjustment application, which you can then link to Aperture using the Images -> Edit With... command. You set the photo adjustment application in the Preferences dialog.

As far as the application of choice, Adobe Photoshop Elements seems to be adequate for a lot of folks; I have found I need to use Photoshop itself, but YMMV.

Hi Christopher. I also use Aperture and I have Elements and the Nik plugins for Aperture. Once you have your image looking the way you want and back in Aperture you can export your image as a jpeg to your desktop (see exporting images in your help menu). When in the gallery you want to post in select post a photo and a dialog box will prompt you to choose your photo.
