Great time at the Shindig!

It was great meeting everyone and seeing some of the folks again. Thanks again Richie for setting this up. =)

Big thanks to Richie V. and Rene for your outstanding work as moderators and for your efforts for the Shindig. A big thank you to Brent D. for getting such a great venue as Qube Visual for us to use. Also, thank you to all the others, the ladies who were setting up, and the others that brought food and drinks. A special thank you to Kalin for that killer guacamole!

I ditto Morris's comments, great event this year, and thanks to all who put in the effort to organise it. Great to meet you too Koveh!.

I'd like to echo Koveh's and Morris' comments as well. Also, It was good to place faces with names and to actually introduce myself and talk to to some of you.

I also echo the comments above. Great turnout Aleks the home brew was awesome as were the prints in the white elephant, especially tne "bonus print" of a certain author. Great job to all who made this happen!

Thanks to everyone who facilitated the shindig, I'm glad I got to come by and see everybody, and thanks for the support about closing the gallery. You guys are good inspiration to get out there again. Like CAZ mentioned, having something monthly or even quarterly where people do a print critique, mini-workshop, presentation methodology discussion, et. al., with food and drink at someone's home or a space has always been an idea, going along with the photography cooperative idea I had for the gallery awhile back. This type of face-to-face interaction is priceless in my opinion. Keep up the good work everybody!

It was great meeting everyone at the shindig. As a relative newbie it was great putting a face with a name... and I got some lighting tips from Jim Casteel.

Yep- got plenty of pix. I'll try to post them tomorrow or send them to the mods for posting. It was great seeing everyone again! Thanks for all the hard work that was put into making it a success.

Thanks to Richie and Rene for getting it all set up along with all the others. Very Excellent!! It was a very nice experience and enjoyed getting to know everyone and hope to participate more in the future. Thanks to all the other attendee's that said hi and included us more silent types in the mix. My only regret was to not have brought a print! I would have been a winner for sure as they were all awesome prints.

Next year I won't be as chicken and improved to be in the mix :)--maybe :)
