Dream Ice.
Had a great time at the shindig! Good seeing all of you.

Last weekend I went up to Dream Lake for sunrise. Sunrise wasn't much but the lake ice was great as always. Taking advantage of the ice conditions here are a couple abstracts I shot.

And the last one is for fun.

Sweet! I like how you can see so much depth in that ice... especially in the first one.

Really like the design in the second image. Nice subtle colors.

Both shots are beautiful. I need to spend more time looking for ice like that.

Both are excellent abstracts and the last one is a hoot. Well done. Enjoyed meeting you at the shindig.

Well done, Jim! The third one is "over the top". In all seriousness, the ice images are fantastic!

It was great to meet you and your wife last night! Your shots are making me want to head out there and have some fun with the ice. Great tones and detail!

Very nice work on the ice. As others have said, there is a feeling of depth to these shots. But #3 is a winner to me as well. Fun stuff.

love that first one. Great work.

Great abstracts Jim. They have a soft wavy fabric look to them and very nice patterns. Great find.

Simply gorgeous ice images!
I slightly prefer the first because of the curtain like patterns you got. Excellent work, Jim!

Both are awesome but that first one is just killer. Makes me feel like I'm in the Millenium Falcon set on hyper drive. Whoa!

Wow - I just love that first one! It just begs to be printed BIG and put on my wall! :)

I agree with Bret, the first gives you a feeling of flying thru a star field. Well done!

Nice! I'll give the nod to #2 but both rock. Im still hoping to get up there next week if the weather cooperates.

Fabulous depth in the first one especially. One of the best intimate ice images I've seen!

As incredible as #1 is, #3 just blows it away.
