Awesome! I love the Longs pano with the earth shadow. And the purple dusk shot with all the foreground.

You're a brave man for heading up there without snowshoes!

That's just SICK! Great stuff, as usual, Kane.

Here's a black and white shot. Does this one work?

Yeah, that b&w image works real well!

Nice images. Like the banner cloud image. That you did this without snowshoes is something else.

Great stuff, Kane! #s 5 and 6 in the series are most to my taste, but all are beautiful. The B&W is interesting. The horizontal dark bands at the very bottom and halway up the frame create a tension with the mountain ridges, I'm not sure I love it, but it's certainly eye-catching.

Kane....your story is very VERY inspiring!!! Thank you for writing down your experience and sharing with us!! Beautiful pictures... and really like the black and white one too. The 1st one and the 6th one are the best!!! What a fantastic job...always admire anyone who can withstand extreme cold and still come back with amazing pictures! :toast:

I really love your 7th image. That pano has wonderful tones and cool color. I enjoyed also reading about the hike and a few of your others. Your trip report to the Loch reminded me of two years ago when I hiked to Mills Lake through some deep snow and got twisted around in those same trees. While I was shooting around the lake one of my daughters decided to pass the time and scoot up a dead tree. She fell. Of course. And broke 3 fingers. That was a fun hike out! But at least we had some snow to keep the swelling down!

Great series! And a great story too. I like them all but #6 (great perspective) and #5 are my two favorites.
