Ok, last one of this beautiful male fox. Could wish for more leg but I like this low POV so can't have it all I'm afraid.
Going to Scotland in a few days and hoping there will be some snow left when I come back. I really would like to have another go with this fox.

For me Edwin, this really is the best of the bunch.. Such superb detail, light and clean BG. The licking of the nose is just icing on the proverbial. truly wonderful captures. Some might comment on the grass stems but I'm not bothered by them as it just adds to the state of the environment.

Handsome subject, but the tongue isn't really cool; it indicates baiting in my experience. Not that I've got anything against baiting, but I don't think the signs of baiting add to image quality.

Hi Ed, lovely Fox and what a bonus the tongue sticking out. I have a fox now visiting my back garden so I am feeding it road kill so hopefully I may get some shots.

Edwin, all the time you can post shots of the quality and variety of your fox shots I for one will continue looking forward to them. I am not sure whether I prefer this one to your first posting, but I do know that both are head and shoulders above any other fox shot I have seen lately.

Personally I would prefer slightly less snow and a tad more headroom but apart from that its top notch
Stunning detail Edwin. The background immediately to the left rear of the fox seems a bit strange has there been any photoshop work done on it ? I disagree with Phil Shaw that the tongue indicates baiting (it certainly could, but not necessarily) and it most certainly doesn't spoil the image in any way.

Fantastic shot Edwin, absolutely brilliant. Even better than the first one of the sequence.
I'm very envious of your fieldcraft skills and your talent as a photographer.
