Where were you at 7am today?
Where was I, well I was 3,000ft+ higher than I was at 4am. This is a particular location I have wanted to shoot from for the last year, finally I got a round to doing, not ideal conditions but what the heck.

4am Left car at I-70 Bakerville exit.
7am Ganley Mountain summit, 12,887ft.
9am still on summit freezing my butt off.
11:10am back at car.

Enjoy the photos.

#3 - Torreys Peak and Kelso Peak.

#4 - Yes its Torreys and Keslo again, Grays did not want to come out and play.

#5 - Finally, Grays Peak, Torreys Peak and Keslo Peak.

Wow. Nice point of view to get these images. #4 is probably my favorite, as far as the light patterns on Kelso and the clouds around Torreys go. I also like being able to see the slightly wider angle and Grays Peak in #5.

Those are excellent! I think I'd pick #2, if you made me, but they all rock.

The dappled lighting and foggy/cloudy conditions make #2 my clear favorite here.

In bed, where all good wimps are at 7am! Thank gawd you were there to show us cool shots like these :toast: You're so thin you must have to wear 20 or so layers just to freeze your butt off!

I was waking up to go ride 18" of powder this morning!

I think I'll go for #3, I like the simplicity of it. Great shot!

Better you than me freezing your butt off  Thanks for sharing!

I was almost done sweating my butt off in spin class
I think I'll go with #2 as well but the fdifferent light makes each one very interesting. Looks like a fun trip!

Something about #2 does it for me. Great stuff, Jody.

NIce work, and I love that valley. I'm going with #2 also, because it seems to have more contrast. Nice lines in those three shots.

I was 13 hours into a 15 hour overnight drive but I sure would have preferred to be where you were. Great stuff as always!!

Numero Dos! Though 5 works too.

Like the way the peaks are coming through the clouds in #2 and #3.

On my way home from work :frown: I Like 2 and 5 -- really nice set as a whole.

Excellent combo of light and comp in #2. Well worth the effort!

I was starting hour 9 of a 10 hour overnight shift ! #4 is my favorite of the bunch, but I definitely give you kudos for having the legs and lungs to get it done, in addition to being able to think clearly enough once you arrived at the summit to get some great shots.... :toast:

None of your business! I like 1 and 5. Oh to be young again and have the energy to attempt such a trek.
