Before my camera shut down today and went black...(see previous post ..) I was able to get some last shots of the Bittern during a snowstorm.
Guess that will be the last for some time as I guess my camera will be gone for a few weeks and having just sold my back up camera I am affraid I will be out of work for a few weeks..
greetings,
Jeroen Stel

Jeroen,
Are you a CPS member? Canon should fast track your repair if that is the case - I just had my 24-70 returned in two days.
Give them a hard time and you should get things happening quickly
Andrew
Oh - great bittern pic - a fraction underexposed on my monitor.

I have registered as a CPS member yesterday but it will take 6 weeks for Canon to complete the registration.

Hi Jeroen
My camera shutter died on me last year but I took it in the day after I had registered for the CPS membership online. If you ring them up ask them for your membership number and give it to the Canon repair centre. The six week period is for them to send you your CPS card and details. I got my camera back within a week.
Hope it all works out for you.
