MBP calibration

My desktop is currently down with fever and I am editing my images in MBP. I do find that even after calibration, the colors aren't accurate or have a reddish/yellowish cast when I look at them in different monitors. I am using standard calibration parameters (D65, 2.2 gamma). Does anyone use MBP for their work ? if so, how do you guys calibrate it ? In general, I am also interested to know what you guys use and under what kind of light you edit your images ?

thanks,
debjit

By MBP, are you referring to mac book pro (MBP)? I use mine for a variety of work, and calibrate it using a Spyder device with the luminosity dialed down to about 70%. I never see a color cast of images when viewed on different monitors.

I was referring to the display brightness (not much else alterable). After making sure that's set than I let the Spyder calibration device do its work.
