Thought I'd start a new thread to see if we can drum up enough interest in throwing together a couple of member get togethers.
In the Seattle area, Rick and Nancy Lamb have graciously offered their home for a possible print exchange and workflow get together. Rick and Nancy, without imposing too much, are you still game and willing to set a date?
Here in Portland, I'd like to propose a print exchange, based on John Williams suggestion. Does anyone know of a suitable venue? I was thinking a Pizza place with a private room might be nice. Or there's a couple of breweries that might work such as the Luck Labrador, or Bridgeport, or maybe the Widmer Brothers Brewing Company in NW Portland. All of those serve food too.
So, what do you say? Interested? Willing to sign up?

I would be interested in the Seattle area event. I'm pretty new to the site and people and would love the oppotunity to meet folks.

Sounds great! A print exchange sounds fine, but even more being able to view and discuss a couple of prints from each person would be highly educational (especially if some were willing to bring large prints). Thanks for working on this Dave!

Seattle area for me.

I like John's idea. I have a large print that is in route that I am framing for a Portland hospital that I would like to get some opinions on. It is large, and I wanted to see what folks thought of it in supergloss paper.

For Portland, I've sent of a couple of questions to the Kennedy school to see what's involved in getting one of their event rooms. Hopefully it will be free as long as we're thirsty and hungry. Stay tuned...
