Buzzard attempting to lift a rabbit
On the way home late last night I happened to run over a rabbit. On my way out this morning I caught a buzzard attempting to lift it to the safety of cover to have a meal. Buzzard must have been hungry, because it didn't bother in the slightest with my presence and just carried on trying to lift the meal for a good 15 mins or so

Top shot John,

Blur and motion is excellent. Might need a little clockwise rotation.

Not sure about this one. It is sharp in the important areas (prey and talons), but without your comment I wouldn't have known what bird it was. Perhaps a colour version might be more informative.

I certainly dont think B/W suits the subject. The second is far better. A great opportunist capture.

I agree with others, the second image is much stronger.
