Paradise Found
Here's a shot from Paradise Divide from last July. I know the highlights in those clouds are clipped, but I thought it was still a warm & fuzzy kind of scene. This is a crop from a horizontal image, in order to give it a more minimalist take.

Oops! Does it have a slight CW tilt? Please try to look past that, I can correct it later, if the shot is ever used beyond here.

Yeah it does...sort of like its creator :-) Warmth and fuzziness but the clouds are an embarassment for you dude

And Morris just said you were the cloud master in another post....shame, shame  I do like the peaceful feeling of this. Makes me anxious for spring Todd.

If it weren't for those clipped highlights...

It does appear a tad tilted CW. Aside from that, this is really peaceful and pretty, Todd. Looks like a great place to eat lunch and take a nap, if you ask me.

Looks way better than the image I got last summer, even with the tilt...nice comp!

I like the crop and comp, Todd. The impressionistic bottom half of this is very appealing on its own too. This has a nice feel to it.

Looks like you took this standing in the back end of an infinity pool...I love it! It makes me want to leave Texas and come back to Colorado right now.

Summer... sigh. Nice, simple, peaceful image.

I like it!

Todd, that reflection looks so good, I would almost consider cropping out everything at the horizon and just having an interesting reflection shot.

NIce image Todd in spite of the errors you pointed out.

Come on summer! I only have a vague recollection of peaceful warm scenes like this, and they seem to be fading fast. Thanks for posting this. Nice warm fuzzy!

Hey Todd, can you crop a little of that paradise and send it my way? We need it over here in AR right now.

One of my favorite places on the planet, thanks to you.

I do recall hearing you say that morning, as I got out of your truck on the edge of a steep drop-off that was invisible in the dark, "Watch out for the first step."

Todd and Lance, beautiful location. Must have been difficult to pack up and leave.

That scene just screams 'Colorado!'.
Pictire postcard perfect.

Sorry Todd just doesn't cut the mustard for me.....it does not have your normal panache.

Looking past the clipped clouds and the slight CW tilt, it is a wonderful comp!

Like the location and the comp is pleasing. Looks like you will need to return and get the shot with a more dramatic sky. And remember to not blow the highlights.

Very serene...makes me long for summer! Great shot Todd, despite the fact that the water is pouring out on the right!!! It's tilted a bit CW...you can tell by aligning the tip of the tallest tree with its reflection against a vertical line.
