Hi everyone,
My name is Joe Paratore and I live in S.E Michigan. I had the wonderful opportunity of living in the beautiful state of Colorado for 17 years where I spent most of my leisure time fly fishing the streams and lakes of the Rockies, Returned to Michigan in 1989 and two years later bought a 35mm camera, took a nature workshop and was hooked, I had found a new love and passion.
I have interest in both nature and landscape photography. My main focus of late is bird photography with close up work coming in a close second. I’ll photograph any thing nature that’s in front of me. I travel often and now go to Colorado to photograph and not fish. My desire is to try and capture the beauty that God has created all around us to enjoy.
I have been checking out NPN for a while now and have really been blown away by the quality images and talented photographers on this sight. I have learned so much already with the wealth of info past on to each other that I thought now is the time to stop mooching, join the community , be part of , meet you all and be humbled a lot when posting images.
I hope to improve my skills and do my best to be a good contributor.
