On Monday the sun came out briefly and I managed to get this Nuthatch in reasonable light, it stayed for a moment and then was off! No food I guess.

Hi Kim,

Another beautiful capture of a bird I have yet to photograph (among stacks of others). A little big in the frame and possibly a little to dark in the shadow areas but can be fixed with a couple of tweaks I'm sure. Keep them coming.

The warm sunlight certainly picks out the warm tones in the plumage here. A good pose too.

Lovely catchlight in the eye Kim but looks a little dark on my screen. Could be that I have just calibrated the monitor - another new learning process
