Red Stags in the snow
from Scotland at the beginning of the year, taken as it was getting dark so there was a fairly blue cast which i've mostly removed

40D + 300mm F4L + 1.4
F8
Full FRAME

Works for me Jack, but I'm biased as I'm particularly keen on snowy and frosty settings.
I like the composition here too.

Very nice image, I love the impression of the glen which shows through the snow to give a clue as to the environment. Great eye contact too

Very nice Jack. The Stags stand out well against the snowy background. Still has a blueish cast on my monitor but I rather like it.

The remaining blue cast adds to the cold feeling given by the picture.

Nice composition with them both almost looking inwards and focusing the eye.

Love it. I don't mind the bluish cast as it really adds to the feel of cold.

Great capture, especially the fella on the left. Compositions spot on.
Would be curious to see it with all of the blue cast removed.

Hi Jack, a very nice image but I have to agree that it does look a lot better with the blue cast removed and the snow looking as white as it should be.

Kind regards,
