I don't know why I ended up choosing Flat Irons this morning. I thought it might be interesting in the fog, and I have never shot them in morning light from near Chautauqua Park. I have seen shots by others from there, especially in the spring with wildflowers. All I know was I was really struggling to decide on where to go this morning. In the end, this is where I ended up. I just made it at sunrise. The fog was drifting around and was just a vapor near the rocks. I believe we are given gifts when we make the effort to be out in this beautiful creation we live in. These are a few of the gifts I was given this morning, and for them, I am grateful.

I don't know why you chose to visit the Flatirons either, but it was truly serendipity. These are all superb!!
I can't even begin to choose a favorite...this is some of the best work I've seen from you here. 'Development' is spot on, too.
Certainly some of the best I've ever seen from this location.
Very well done, Morris!!

Wonderful set, Morris. #2 is may favorite.
You certainly made your own "luck".
That's quite a drive up from Parker! Stop by for breakfast next time.
Thanks so much, guys. I appreciate your time to comment.
Bill, how are your waffles?

It's really too bad you didn't get a colorful sky this morning, Morris. ;-)
Outstanding photos in this series! Beautiful compositions, lovely light and color...it all came together for you. Glad to see it as it's been one solid shade of gray here today.

Well done Morris. Some great colors captured in these images!
Yes, Paul, it does. Especially when it's about every other Saturday getting out to try to get something. The odds of getting a good sunrise are against us with that lack of frequency.

Wow Morris, what a gold mine. The first one is my favorite by far. Absolutely stunning!
