Nuthatch

for a long time I am after a decent Nutty shot.
Now last Thuesday I was lucky.
7D, Nikkor MF 5,6/600, ISO 640, f8, from hide
C and C always welcome.

Very nice shot and great texture on the tree too, the head turned towards the camera a little more would have been good, but its a lovely shot none the less.

Great species and a good, characteristic pose captured. As already mentioned, a head turn would have been ideal, but one for next time perhaps.

Excellent image, I love the posture. My only comment would be that the light seems quite harsh, did you use a flash?
