Rapid motion
This is one of the less visited areas near page. This was taken at lee's ferry near Page,AZ. This is a fishing place, but there was room for photography too. What do you guys think about this?

Love the motion in the water and the color. Also like how sharp the cliff wall is as well.

Stunning!

Great combination of solid rock vs. flowing water!

Very unusual image. The colors together are exceptional.

Lovely Chikku, what were your settings?

Excellent!

Love it, from the motion of the water, to the light and color combination. I also think the foreground rock anchors this really well. Beautiful work!

A great treatment of the water. I love the soft-sharp contrast. The rock adds a lot to the composition.

I remember Lee's Ferry as a rather open area. I wouldn't recognize this as being from there. Did you hike down one of the downstream canyons to get this?

Really lovely! Just makes me want to be carried downstream.... Lee's is a gorgeous spot however you you slice it. Bill, there are cliffs rising up on the south bank almost immediately across from the boat ramp: no need to go far. My guess is that this is the Paria Riffle, only ~1/4 mile down. I love the sense you get of the standing waves here.

Simply outstanding!
Static and dynamic tension are perfect, as are the slightly muted colors.
You might consider 'losing' the touch of wave on the very bottom just left of center.
How long was your exposure?

That foreground rock makes this image. Nice work!

Beautiful colors and the rock breaks it up nicely.

Forgot the exif. Here you go.
Canon 5D w/ 17-40mm f/4 L
f/4 at 20sec
ISO 100
It was almost pitch dark, and I wanted a clean shot hence the ISO 100.

This is actually right from the parking lot past the boat ramp. I walked about 30yards upstream to this spot.

@John Mumaw
Thanks for the suggestion about the small wave. never noticed that.

That is one damn fine shot! Like some others noted, the mix of motion and still makes this a compelling photo.

Very interesting and well done image. I like the colors and dynamic elements. The pano crop works well too.

Chikku, very nice. Like the contrast of soft water and hard rock plus the color contrast. The anchor rock is an important element.

Beautiful shot. I know that place well but would have thought a longer lens was used given the width of the river at that point.
