Anyhow... film worked! but I still love digital!
Keep up the good work her folks.

Looks like Blue Hen falls. Is it?
Lots on great color,
nice comp and great amount of water flowing for that time of the year.
I just got into digital a few years ago myself. Love it! If you visit my web sight almost all the images on it where shot with 50 velvia,.......Which now I trying to update to digital images.

Joe,
Yes Blue Hen Falls.... One of Chuck's favorite places. He has some great images as well of BHF.
Your site looks great... I am really temped to go buy an and large format and one lens just to play around with film again. I kind of miss it at times.

Do it! Do it! Do it!
You'll never be satisfied with those wimpy digitoys afterwards!
Jack - it is beginning to look like I won't be getting out there this year. Maybe next year...

Beautiful shot even if it isn't digital.

Hey Jack,
That's one of the nicer images of BHF that I've seen. Must have been Fall 2005 or earlier. By Fall 2006 the log on the left was not there. In any case, we weren't shooting together that day (not even sure we'd met at that point).
Here's Blue Hen on 10-23-09. It was a good year for leaves.

Damm Chuck--Imagine if that was on Velvia----only kidding
Darn good image though. I checked on the orig. slide and it was October 2005.
I'll try calling you before I leave for Death Valley on Tuesday AM

Jack, That is a very nice shot. Really pretty and makes you think ahead for fall. Love the looks of that Velvia. Used alot of it over the years.

I shot a bunch of Velvia back in the day, also with and F100. Kind of miss them both. But not that much. I am anxious to give my new D700 a workout these days!
Gorgeous color in that Velvia shot, Jack.

Both are great in their own right. I have been there only once and ended up down in the stream. I didn't have near as many leaves on the ground but that sure would have been nice. Here is my version..also shot on Velvia 50. Film, especially Velvia, had it's advantages but I love the control digital gives me from start to finish!
