This was taken across the road from the parking lot for Golden Canyon.
It has rained a lot in the last 48 hours. There are new "lakes" in the valley, and the road is flooded in low lying spots. I can just hear all those dormant wildflower seeds swelling and coming to life!
I'm off to pick up my brother in Las Vegas, then to parts unknown in Southern Utah.

It feels like you are living here Tony, after posting while you're still in DV. This looks as if your scene that will be filled with desert gold in the foreground. This might also work as a pano too, pretty subtle mood in this one.

Pretty sky, Tony.
I am glad (and jealous) you get to spend that much time on the road wandering.

The beautiful colors and tones in the sky complement the hills.
Ahhhh in anothermonth to 6 weeks that water that has been falling on you will do its magic. Nice colors in your sky along with the shades and tone of the mountiain. I too am jealous.
