New Toy
I finally got a true wildlife lens (the Canon 500mm f/4 IS) and am sooooo excited. I just wish the weather was more cooperative my first weekend with it. I think I had 15 minutes of sunshine too shoot with it, but I am sure I will ahve many weekends to come. Here are my first shots with it. Hopefully I will be getting a lot better.

You'll love that lens, Kurt. Looks like you aren't going to have any problems with learning how to use it.

Cool! Enjoy that hunk of glass (I'm sure you will)!

Oh oh, another big glass afficianado. We'll probably never see another landscape or flower shot again. Looks like you are already enjoying the lens and making good photos. I l like #4 due to it's posture.

Looking Good! Now you won't have to get so close to the Big Horn's next year.

Believe me when I say you'll never regret it. We'll never out number the scenic shooters on this site but we'll give them a run for their money.

FYI: Throw on a 1.4TC and a few extension tubes. Makes for a great macro.
