Having the need to replace my now knackered shoulder bag
are there any suggestions as to a good sturdy bag. to hold DSLR 300mm 2.8, flash, batteries & of course the etc's.
I use the Stealth 650 AW, although now I use it mostly to carry my video kit on a quad. It is big enough for a 300/2.8 on body with hood reversed. Shoulder strap on it is probably the best out there.
I also use a Billingham 445 for most of my day to day running around, preferring it to the Stealth simply because there's not the same straps and loose bits to catch on doorways or other peoples cameras. It is a similar size to the Stealth and can carry plenty of etc's. Strap is good on it, but not quite as good as the Stealth's one, but it does have the advantage of being able to carry a monopod safely by nature of it's design. (Not something Billingham advertise, but handy none the less)

Tamrac Expedition 7X. A backpack, but lots of room and built like a tank!

Forget all previous suggestions - set the moths free Paul and look at the ThinkTank range; now that I own one of their products I'd never buy anything else........

they all seem to be on the small side!
