I just wandered around for hours in the snow yesterday shooting anything and everything. This one is kinda growing on me. What do you folks think?
Thanks,
Paul

I like it.
The falling snow flakes, limited DOF and sepia toning all combine to make this one work very well.
Not to mention the nice composition and scene.
Ditto to what John said, and to add, it's a frozen moment in time. Just about any time. Beautiful work.

Paul, this is really fabulous!!! I like the way you captured the snow. Because of the coloring you used and the subject matter I wasn't sure at first that this was snow and thought it might be an autumn shot of fluff blowing off the top of the reeds. If you wanted a more wintery feel, you could play with other coloring but I kind of like the way it makes me stop and think, and then just enjoy.

Very creative image. Would make a great fine art print. Good job.

Thanks guys! Erik, I also thought about a cooler tone, but it just didn't feel right at the time.

I like!
Have you considered burning in the upper left area that's lighter than the rest? I find my eye keeps wandering back to that area. Or maybe cropping a fraction from the top.

I agree.
At least darkening those few bright spots in the upper left corner would be an asset, IMO.
