New Melones is part of San Francisco's water supply. This mornings rain cleared off by mid afternoon just in time to provide a blast of color.
New monitor arrived today and this is one of the first images I have processed. Have not had a chance to run a calibration, just set rough values that I picked up from a couple of blogs for now. So I'm interested in how this look for contrast and brightness - can you see the bridge on you monitor.
Five images blended in HDR software and then tweeked in Capture NX2 - no cropping

Dan it looks pretty good to me. I can see the bridge clearly. The hills are kind of dark seems intended though. The highlights are a little blow right near the botom of the cloud. Years ago I would play drums in the middle of that bridge(it's hollow) the local kids called to the echo chambers.

Now that there is a sky with some drama! Nice mix of complimentary color too.
