Hi,
I am new to NPN. I received some wonderful advice for a trip to the Big Sur area that I just finished and would like to post some photos. I am a NPN member on the 30 day free trial which I will allow to become a full membership with the auto credit card pay.
When I went to post, though, the only option I was given was to link to a photo URL. I do not have any photos on the web. Why did it not give me the option of uploading from my computer? Do I also need to be a separate member of this specific forum?
Any help would be appreciated.

Guy,
As a member, you should be able to upload images. The upload "browser" should be right above the URL link. Make sure you are signed in prior to attempting an upload. You might try signing out, then signing in again if it looks like you are signed in. If that does not work, drop Jim an email and let him know the problem.

Hi, I will try that. I do "see" the option to upload, but it is disabled. That is, the "browse" link is not operational. Will sign out and back in and then try again.

Nope, logged out and back in. When I look at the upload area, there is a message in the box where you list your image to upload that says "only members may upload photos" and the browse button does not work. Is this because of the trial membership, I wonder? If so then I would like to pay and get full access but am not sure how to do that.

Guy,
I just clicked on the membership tab on the header at the top of the page (should be on all pages). Based my interpretation of the info, you should be able to have full membership privileges during the 30 day membership trial period.
Drop Jim an email and ask about it. Jim is extremely helpful.

I think you need to put your NPN number into your profile information in order to activate that feature.
